Can i call her Liv for short? I was totally just thinking of the name Liv for a baby girl. Weird.

Yup. You can play with it a lot of ways. Olivia. Liv. Livvie. I'm not fond of Ollie, though...

What runs on his side of the family? Boys or girls? Hopefully he has a good amount of girls so there's a good chance you can put that pretty name to use.

Well, his parents have two boys. My Mom has three girls and one boy. So it's pretty cut throat. It's a toss up. I honestly don't mind if it's a boy or a girl anymore, because I wouldn't mind staying the only girl in the house, but I secretly hope it's a girl so that I can paint her nails and braid her hair and do girl stuff.

Hmm, the dad determines the sex of the baby (all that X and Y chromosome in the sperm crap). So it's likely you'd end up with another boy if his side is full of them. But it isn't guaranteed!

I tried really hard not to get too attached to wanting one more-so than the other before we found out what Em was. Everyone swore she was a girl, but I had to be the only one saying boy just to keep it from being a HUGE let down if she ended up a boy on screen. But everyone ended up right.

I hope you get a girl out of him. (From reading what you've posted, it's great you're at least getting #2 out of him!) I think it's adorable when you see moms at the mall, in Wal*Mart, ect. who have their little mini-mes following them around doing exactly what they do. And you just KNOW it's their daughters because they look freakin' IDENTICAL besides the pigtails.
